Shell-Nel Egg Purse
With tariffs driving up prices, eggs have become a luxury item. To carry them in style, we designed a custom Chanel-inspired purse, a Shell-nel, if you will. Each piece is hand-sewn from faux leather and upcycled Vital Farms egg cartons.
Vital Farms loved the concept so much, they gifted us a year’s supply of eggs. The Shell-nel was featured in the Treat Gallery at the Affordable Art Fair in New York City, September 17–21, 2025.
As a stunt to promote our purse, we hired the viral sensation “Sign Spinner” to perform with a custom “Viral Egg Purse” sign beneath a Chanel ad in Williamsburg, Brooklyn—just a week before Easter. The perfect eggcessory for the holiday.
